We Live in a Computer Simulation: Life in the Simulated Reality Matrix (SRM)

The headline is my post.

I'm not being cute. I'm telling you the truth. You shouldn't believe me just because I'm honest; you should, now that you know the truth, open your eyes and see the truth for yourself. It surrounds you; it's within you; it's above you; it's below you. The reason why you couldn't see it before now is because your programming was designed to prevent you from seeing it. I have just provided you with one small deprogramming step for yourself. Now you must take one giant deprogramming step for yourself and humanity.

Good luck.

I thought I'd add the following for posterity:

This is incorrect: “Artificial intelligence will reach human levels by around 2029. Follow that out further to, say, 2045, we will have multiplied the intelligence, the human biological machine intelligence of our civilization a billion-fold.”
- Ray Kurzweil

It might be more accurate to say, "Humans will reach artificial intelligence levels by around 2029. I don't, however, know if we'll ever become sentient."
